Capture Professional is a full featured tool that captures images and high frame rate video (w/ sound) from menus, controls, single windows, overlapping multiple windows, rectangles, polygons and more from your desktop. It can automatically scroll your browser to capture entire web pages. It can capture images from DirectX surfaces from games and media player applications. It can capture from multiple monitors. Its Screen Capture Wizard and Capture Assistant gets you up and running quickly. The wizard will help you decide which screen capture features to use and the assistant will interactively guide you step-by-step through the screen capture process.
Capture Professional edits normal and transparent images using 18 configurable drawing tools and more than 50 image operations with real-time preview. If you make a mistake, the unique undo feature can undo anything. Capture Professional supports many popular file formats. Images can be saved and optionally previewed in BMP, CUR, GIF, ICO, JPG, PCX, PNG, RLE and TIF file formats. Video is saved using a codec of your choice to the AVI file format. Images and video can also be printed on one or more pages, copied, e-mailed or published directly to the Internet. The screen is printed when the print screen key is pressed. It opens image and video files, scans and extracts images from executables for viewing and editing.
Capture Professional's new user interface allows you even greater flexibility than ever before. The menu bar, toolbars, tool palette and media bar can be docked and undocked from the main window. The new menu system has Office XP style menus. The new media bar has tabs that allow you to easily select usable colors from an image, favorite colors, standard Windows color and colors that you used recently. Capture Professional now fully supports Windows XP themes. This means that if you have Windows XP, Capture Professional will reflect the appearance of whatever theme you are using.
